Anyone who would like to explore the concept that “everybody is somebody’s difficult person” and discuss the type of behaviours and high conflict personalities we typically clash with and identify strategies to deal with them.

Course content

In this practical bitesize workshop, we will explore sources of conflict at work and our own attitudes towards it, encouraging the examination of conflict from a positive perspective as an opportunity, rather than a threat. We will uncover the signs of conflict escalation, the steps to de-escalate it in its early stages and identify our own conflict management preferences and how to handle conflict constructively in different situations. We will explore the concept that “everybody is somebody’s difficult person” and discuss the type of behaviours and high conflict personalities we typically clash with and identify strategies to deal with them.
