Who is this for?
For anyone who would like to learn about different types of empathy, explore non-verbal cues, and understand key opportunities for showing empathy in the workplace to help foster trusting, caring and cooperative relationships.
Course content
While for some the pandemic provided an opportunity to reshape their working lives - reducing the stress of the daily commute and increasing time spent with family, for others it has equated to additional pressure from juggling work demands with home schooling, having to adjust to a more autonomous and not necessarily preferred way of working and feeling demotivated and lonely due to isolation from colleagues, friends and family.
In this workshop, you will learn how to identify and regulate your own emotions in order to help tune into the feelings of others and relate to their circumstances and perspectives. You will learn about different types of empathy, explore non-verbal cues, and understand key opportunities for showing empathy in the workplace to help foster trusting, caring and cooperative relationships.
