Who's this course for?

This programme will benefit anyone in a people management role, needing to conduct performance reviews and have ‘courageous’ conversations.

Overview

The line manager has a critical role in any organisation. Effective performance management implemented consistently across a team, department and organisation will promote clear direction, improved behaviour, targeted development and motivated staff.
We will look at 2 crucial processes that will enable you to do this effectively. These processes are (i) the managing performance process and (ii) the ability to have ‘difficult’ conversations.

• Set clearer, more useable objectives with milestones
• Hold more effective performance conversations
• Know how to “grasp the nettle” and to give effective feedback
• Demonstrate skills required for conducting effective performance conversations
