Overview
In modern business, it is common to find yourself in a situation in which you have to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, often with different wants and needs. This can be a difficult juggling act and this highly interactive one day workshop will provide you with some tools and skills to help you do this. This course will enable you to analyse, plan and manage your key stakeholders to maximum effect. Through understanding what drives their behaviour, you will learn how to adjust your communication style and influencing approach to make sure your projects come in on budget and on time.
Objectives
• Map their stakeholders in terms of: 1) Communication approach 2) Power and interest in a project/piece of work
• Identify their preferred behavioural style and that of a key stakeholder and practice ways to adapt their style to build rapport and trust
• Understand how to and gain credibility and confidence
• Use assertive behaviours that bring about a win-win
• Build a plan to take back to the workplace to be able to manage a key stakeholder more effectively
